The National Honor Society will be conducting a book drive January 26-February 6, 2026.

 

Books will be donated to the Gert Jackson Community Library in Grant, Florida, a small community-run library (not a part of the Brevard library system) whose mission is to provide excellent books and children’s programs for surrounding towns and communities. Students can bring in books to donate and NHS students will collect the books each day. 

 

We are specifically looking for books suitable for children 0-18 years of age. This can include board books, picture books, chapter readers, classics, and books used in middle and high school curriculum. We are requesting new or gently used books. (Please no books with mold, water damage, or falling apart).
