Good Friday is the solemn Christian day commemorating Jesus Christ's crucifixion and death at Calvary, observed the Friday before Easter as part of Holy Week, it's a day for fasting, reflection, and special services to remember Jesus' sacrifice for humanity's sins, emphasizing profound love and redemption, even though it's a day of sorrow, with "Good" meaning "holy" in old English.

  • 12 Angry Jurors - CCA's Spring Production!

Adapted by Sherman L. Sergel. Based on the Emmy Award-Winning Movie by Reginald Rose. Produced by special arrangement with THE DRAMATIC PUBLISHING COMPANY of Woodstock, Illinois.

At the heart of 12 Angry Jurors lies a powerful and Biblical truth - the value of one human life made in God's image. Romans 5:8 says "But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus saw sinful humanity as such a worthwhile prize that He was willing to go to the cross. This is Juror 8's position, as it should be ours.

Please come and support our theatre students who have worked hard to make this production everything it can be!

Due to mature themes and complex subject matter, this production is recommended for audiences ages 13 and older. Please click "Read More" below to read about the topic of this play.
