Reading Gives You Superpowers!
Our reading adventure is well underway, and students have been busy “leveling up” their skills,
collecting power beads, and entering prize drawings as they discover that reading truly gives
you superpowers. Let’s keep this heroic momentum going for the final stretch—so grab a book,
find your favorite cozy reading spot, and let your imagination soar!
Awards Ceremony and Book Character Dress-Up Day
Tuesday, April 28, is our Reading Awards Ceremony! K–6 students and teachers are invited to
come to school dressed as a favorite book character.
Guidelines:
● Follow the school dress code and wear something recess-friendly.
● Costumes must represent book characters (Bible characters are great!).
● No scary or bloody costumes and no weapons (real or fake).
● No need to buy anything—get creative with what you have at home. Click here for easy
