Thanksgiving Give Back

It's Time for Our Annual Thanksgiving Give Back!!
Each year, we partner with Calvary Chapel Melbourne to bless families in our community. This season is a time of reflection - an opportunity to look back on God's faithfulness, provision, and blessings.  Because God has been so generous to us, we want to extend that same generosity to others. 

Our goal this year is to provide a full Thanksgiving dinner for 2400 people in our community by assembling and delivering 600 meal kits.  Each kit will include a New Testament, and an invitation to church. Ministry leaders will personally deliver these meals to meet not only physical needs but also the spiritual needs of our community. 

How CCA is Participating

The National Honor Society students will be leading this initiative for the CCA side.  Each class, from Kindergarten through 12th grade, will be encouraged to bring in a specific food item.  For example, Kindergarten will bring corn. 

Collection Dates:  Monday, November 3 - Friday, November 14

Class Items

- Pre-K & Kindergarten:  Corn (can)
- 1st & 2nd Grade:  Mac & Cheese (box)
- 3rd & 4th Grade:  Instant Mashed Potatoes (box)
-5th & 6th Grade:  Applesauce (plastic jars only - no glass)
-7th & 8th Grade:  Instant Gravy Packets (no jars)
- High School (by Crew Teams):
  - Luigi Crew - Stuffing (box or bag) 
  - Mario Crew - Cornbread Mix (box)
  - Toad Crew - Green beans (can)
  - Bowser Crew - Cranberry sauce (can)
  - Yoshi Crew - Brownie mix (box)

A Little Friendly Competition!
- Elementary (K-4):  The class that collects the most will win a NUT Week!
- Middle School (5-8):  The class that collects the most will also win a NUT Week!
- High School - The crew team with the highest collection will win a NUT Week!
