English Language Arts:
BIBLICAL PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
The study of English Language Arts helps students understand the ability to communicate powerfully and truthfully through words as a reflection of God’s nature, which is unique to mankind. As Christian educators, we strive to prepare students through listening, speaking, writing, and reading proficiently, using God’s Word and Jesus Christ as our example of how to communicated through the Living and Written Word. Students will be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms which will help them build and maintain relationships as well as to fulfill the Great Commission. The mastery of ELA prepares students to readily and appropriately express themselves in all areas of life. CCA educators biblically integrate ELA instruction, teaching students to apply a biblical worldview to all situations.
